Are you interested in exploring your brave heart, what it means to be a future maker or tuning in more deeply to your inner life?

We offer many ways for you to take part in select events with the herd at the farm. We encourage you to create a learning path with us that works for wherever your life is at right now.

Workshops are a chance to learn with and from others as well as the horses. They are also the opportunity to give yourself an extended time with the herd in a fun, safe and unique way.

Topics focus on the core skills we teach in our brave heart and future maker school (skills which shift and evolve as we learn from the horses and participants!). They’re a great way to begin exploring our school and if it’s right for you before making a bigger investment. They’re also a great way to focus in on a specific topic that is important to you right now.

Our workshops are facilitated by Tina Turner – starting at 10am and ending at 5pm. We provide coffee, tea, cold drinks, snacks and freshly prepared vegetarian lunch.

Every workshop involves the horses as teachers in addition to indoor exercises. No horse experience is required – all work with the horses is done on the ground. There is a maximum of 6 participants to ensure dedicated attention and time to fully explore with the herd.

We frequently schedule full or half day events on topics that are calling to the horses and our future maker work. These involve special guests who share their insights and stories, time for group collaboration and sharing, and time in nature to reflect and experience the presence of the herd. During these events we use the workshop room, barn, and reflection benches.

While we are surrounded by the herd and hold a space for their contribution, these events do not involve direct activities with the horses.

Scroll down this page or check our calendar for upcoming special events. There is a maximum of 10 participants – call or email to reserve your spot.

Sometimes what is most helpful to ensure we connect with our aliveness and our inner wisdom, is time for meditation and reflection in nature. These evenings begin with simple ceremonies to help us connect to the energy of the land and the herd and enter into our heart space. We practice 15 to 20 minutes of meditation (no previous experience necessary) to open our awareness, followed by time to enjoy being in the presence of the herd, the trees, the birds … the aliveness of Flying Moon Farm. Find a spot to journal, walk, or just breathe.

We close the evening with a shared gratitude practice.

Meditation and reflection evenings are offered during June to September only. They run from 7pm to 9pm. There is a maximum of 10 participants – call or email to reserve your spot.

Our events take place in the workshop room, the barn, and in the paddocks with the horses. We also have beautiful driftwood sculptures and reflection benches for you to use to journal, meditate or simply relax into the moment, and acres of treed woods to walk.
